Future Dancer

Took these beautiful pictures of a sweet little ballerina. She is a dancer in the making. This is my daughter, Sophie and she has joined a dance class starting this fall. This girl loves to dance! So she was just dying to try out her new shoes and dance attire and I just had to take pictures, of course. Doesn't she look awesome! Can't wait til recital time!!! lol

Back to Back Wedding Weekends!

I covered two wedding back to back just recently and let me tell ya, I'm tired.  It's a lot of work covering a wedding.  You have to be available at pretty  much every moment so you don't miss any minute of capturing a photograph, you never know, that impromptu photo you take may turn out to be the best one of all and bride and groom's absolute favorite.  There is no time for a break!  But I love doing weddings, I love to see how each couple brings their special day to life and then working with the photos and getting artistic with them is so much fun! I covered two very special weddings though and they were both very nice and elegant and with very special people.  Rodney and Sonja got married on July 23rd.  We did some pre-wedding photos at the Eve Centre and they turned out really nice, that is also where the reception was held.  Sonja wore a very nice blue floor length, strapless dress.  Her colors were blue and silver and they looked really nice together.  The reception hall was beautiful with the blue and silver, loved the personalized Hershey kisses and bottled waters! What a neat idea.  Rhea and Bob were married on July 30th and they had a very nice, simple but elegant wedding.  Rhea's favorite color is pink so she incorporated that into her decorations with pink jewelry, gift boxes and flowers.  She wore a beautiful champeign dress, that was very elegant looking.  They had their reception at Coaches, every table was decorated with huge vases of fresh roses, and three yummy cakes from La Baquet.  Very nice, casual dinner reception where everyone enjoyed champeign and each other's company.  Congrats to both couples, Rodney and Sonja and Rhea and Bob.  May you have a wonderful life full of blessings together!  I loved being a part of your special day and capturing all your memories through photographs!

Kid's Photo Contest Winner

.....And the winner is...... it's a tie......Kobe and Brookelyn both fought hard for your votes and I stayed up til midnight so I could accurately count who had the most "Likes" on their photo and it was a tie!
